John and I got away for a quiet weekend to San Diego. We are both working so hard to reach our goals, we needed to pull back and have some rest and fun! Sleeping and eating and a tour of the Bay and roller blading and cuddling–so needed. I so appreciate after the years of being alone and a period of time being with a guy who was not a great match, how easy it is for John and I to relax and have fun. I encourage women to check out my www.mentorunfrom.com site as I keep it updated with great info and www.catherinecardinal.com for skills and info. Always feel free to contact me at 310-288-3426 or by email if you need some help with the relationship you are in. I learned through tedious trial and error how to find my authentic self and harmony with someone. I have so much to share on how to do it.

Great news–am in Cosmo April 2010 issue on page 135 and in IN TOUCH this week. Also looks like I will be doing some relationship expert stuff at KPRI in San Diego! As I’ve said before, hard work pays off, and I am workin’ it!!   Good night–tomorrow is another day. hugs..

It’s a busy time. The book is exploding and it seems every day another interview is booked! So if I’m not writing here alot–please check out www.mentorunfrom.com for all updates. I’m liking the busy-ness, but am aware that balance is the key. Off to the beach on Mon. to roller blade and soak in the peace–and thanks to my family, John and the pups..and all friends for their understanding of how much focus launching a new book takes!! When there’s doubt, I remind myself:
I CAN AND I WILL!

Sent out the emails for our upcoming seminars-5 Secrets to Atracting the Perefct Mate and 7 Essential Keys to Creating Great Relationships! Loooking forward to doing this collaboration with John Seeley and hoping people will sign up! It’s great to see my intention come to fruition–I made doing seminars my commitment with my New Years’ resolutions. I’ve taught in this way before and I know This is just the beginning of doing this. I’m excited…

Had a very positive book tour in San Diego. Did the KPRI morning show, NBC morning news and CW morning news and a book signing at Barnes and Noble Mira Mesa. San Diego is gorgeous. I did dinner theatre down there years ago..it has grown! I love it there and could see John and I moving there at some point! We’ll see…
My www.mentorunfrom.com site is updated and looking great! Onward and upward!!
Now looking forward to the upcoming Valentine’s Day interviews and the event at VOCA gallery. Also–will be in IN TOUCH magazine this week!!

Home with a cold….spending quality times with the dogs though. They are so amazing!

We were at the Ovation awards the other night and it was fanatastic! I felt so excited and nervous for the cast, crew and producers of Divorce!The Musical. AND Erin Kamler won for Best Book/Lyrics/Music for an original musical. It was Thrilling! So happy for her- she is waaayyy talented. I’m so glad John and I are part of the team!

Happy belated Holidays and New Year!!

Had a great time with my family in Cleveland. We all saw AVATAR and Mom,Kimberly, Jeff, Nick, Jacob, Chris and Pammy were blown away! They were all so proud to know John worked on it and we discussed how motion capture works for awhile after the movie. We had brought out Avatar book and they could see how it was made plus our picture with James Cameron at his home. I did WJW Channel 8 and WKYC Channel 3 in Cleveland and also a radio show in NY. We had so much fun with home-made wine, great cooking, shopping, exchanging great gifts and eating many(too many!) home-made meals. We are so glad we went and we even saw some snow! Great news-Nick is now a lawyer and he and Pammy are getting, married next Oct. We’ll look forward to seeing them then!

We then went to Palm Springs with Suzan and Michael to a Mardi Gras New Year Eve’s party at their club. The food and company were great and needless to say, we partied hardy and welcomed the New Year feeling happy and great!

Back home and to work now…did a great interview with Ms Heartbeat on Blog Talk Radio and WGGC in Kentucky this morning. Looking forward to 2010 and continued success of Men To Run From, A Cure for the Common Life and my seminars on dating. Salute!!

Haven’t written in a long time, because I’ve been in school!! It was a tedious course, with many long hours, but am complete and have acquired many new skills to apply to my work around relationship issues!

So much has happened–have been on radio all over the country and on tv in US and Canada. My website www.mentorunfrom.com is getting lots of hits and the book continues to grow in popularity. I will doing TV and radio  in Cleveland Ohio on Dec.22, Fox 8 news tv in the morning at 8am, WKYC tv at 9:45am, and WZAK radio at 1pm. All my upcoming events are on  www.mentorunfrom.com.

And one of the biggest thrills is that  John and I went to the premier of AVATAR!! It is unbelievable!! John did the sets and worked on the film for close to 4 years!! It is spectacular! I have a picture with John Cameron on my Facebook page–what a nice guy–and GENIUS!! I know that everyone that sees it will be glad–it’s heartwarming and gloriously beautiful. Would love to hear comments on AVATAR–feel free to leave them here.

Had a day full of media and fun. Started out in the morning at 9am with Mark and Brian on KLOS talking about dating and the new book, Men to Run From. What great guys!! Fun and interesting and they really got behind the book–I loved their receptivity and this is why I love men!

Then did an interview with KSYR on the book with Darren Rose and then a 30 minute ‘in studio’ interview at KOST with Christine Martindale about celebrity kids and kids of politicians in the public eye–whether it’s healthy or not for them. What great people.

Then to Northridge Borders to meet with my friend, Lita Weissman, who coordinated the book signing for Andy Williams–he looks fantastic!! It was great! His book is called Moon River and Me.

Thanks to all the wonderful interviewers I met today and I thank you all for your interest and support of my books and my work. I have worked so very hard and it feels good to have fruition…

WOW–book launch at Galerie Michael on Oct 14th in Beverly Hills was amazzzzing! Great turn-out and everyon had fun! Check out the pix on my Facebook page. The raffle was a huge success and people loved their prizes.

Will be on the Mark and Brian show on KLOS on Thurs. the 22nd at 9am and on KYSR at 10 am, Music in the Morning.  On the same day at 2:30 I will be doing a live interiew on KOST for the Clear Channel Network and the Sunday Journal.

On Oct 24th I will be at Book Soup in West Hollywood–8818 Suset Blvd. at 4pm–for a book signing, Meet and Greet and cupcakes, mini-dating class and Q&A. It will be fun!! See you there…

On KABC’s Advice for Life with Rick and Marcia talking about my new book Men To Run From. It was fun, bantering back and forth. They are smart, funny, warm and talented. Hope I get asked on again!!

Was on Playboy radio today and talked on Advice for Life with Tiffany. On for 45 min and took calls from guys all over the country and Canada. It was  a  Blast!! Thanks Playboy sirius radio–Playboy loves the book Men To Run From!!!!

Did radio on the pittsburgh shooter. How sad for those people. Spent the day at the Bowers museum in Orange County. John’s Rembrandt etchings will be on display there throughout the summer. John spoke to the docents today to teach them about the etchings and Rembrandt’s life. John will give a public speach at the Bowers on 7/11 in the afternoon about the art of etching and Rembrandt.  If you’ve never seen an etching, it is an amazing thing to see. Done on a piece of copper, the artist uses a small nail like instrument, a burin, to create masterpieces which are then dipped in ink and printed. Truly something beautiful to see. Did a great interview with Sharmen Lane on “Being Successfully Single”. I told the audience, “Celebrate your singleness and don’t lose your discernment”. I was single for a long time and on those lonely nights, I used the time(in between occasional tears) to learn about ME! It pays off in the  long run!! Hey–I met my wonderful (2nd) husband at 50–there you go!

Today I expanded  my Cardinal Coaching Technique to include even more self-esteem points. Self-esteem is at the root of everything we do and it’s time for us all(even me) to have a more healthy, balanced self-esteem. Continuing to work on my Coaching series. Went to a great networking group last night “Serendipity” and met some great people. It was on a yacht–Cool! Feel sad about Michael Jackson and Farah Fawcett. Wonder how much self-esteem Michael Jackson had since he had all those face make-overs. He would have been an interesting guy to meet.  Wish them peace.

August 4th

Spoke on Pittsburgh radio show about the mindset of a shooter. My heart and soul goes out to the victims, friends and families who were so unfairly at the receiving end of  George Sodini’s sickness. It’s hard to imagine this happening and I wish healing for all involved.

At the Bowers museum with the fabulous Professor Valerie Hedquist who gave an outstanding lecture on Rembrandt. Lynn, Raj and Gracie came and it was just a perfect day. How grateful I am to be surrounded by such amazing people and amazing art. I love you all!
